MUSEO LARCO
Única mansión Virreinal del siglo XVII construida sobre una pirámide precolombina del siglo VIII. Este fabuloso Museo cuenta con la exquisita Colección “Oro y Plata del Antiguo Perú”y con la famosa Sala de Arte Erótico. Sus piezas son muy reconocidas por ser exhibidas en los mejores museos del mundo, siendo uno de los pocos museos en el mundo, que permite visitar su bóveda de tesoros, la que presenta más de 45,000 piezas arqueológicas clasificadas por reconocidos especialistas y estudiosos. El Museo Larco es la más grande y deslumbrante colección privada de arte precolombino peruano que existe en el mundo.

MUSEO NACIONAL DE ARQUEOLOGÍA, ANTROPOLOGÍA E HISTORIA DEL PERÚ
Presentado en una casona Virreinal, antiguo lugar de residencia de Virreyes y Libertadores, es considerado el museo por excelencia del Perú. Aquí se conservan los famosos monumentos de piedra de la época formativa 1000 A.C. la "Estela Raimondi" y el "Obelisco Tello". Presenta la más importante colección textil, que muestra tejidos que van desde el período pre-cerámico hasta la época Inca. Muestra también, una importante colección de metales del Perú Antiguo. Destaca su nueva sala “Tawantinsuyo” que presenta un resumen de los 100 años del Imperio Incaico, ilustrados con maquetas y recreaciones virtuales.

Aprecie las espectaculares piezas del Museo Oro del Perú y Armas del Mundo, conociendo también el hermoso Parque de la Amistad.
Los antiguos peruanos trabajaban los metales en forma magistral. El procedimiento "cire perdue" (cera perdida), conocido en Oriente y desaparecido en Occidente hasta la época del Renacimiento, fue el más empleado por estos magníficos orfebres peruanos.
Nuestra excursión al MUSEO ORO DEL PERU permite apreciar una deslumbrante colección de piezas de oro de diversas culturas precolombinas, algunas con más de 3,000 años de antigüedad.
Se exhiben objetos y joyas de orfebrería de incalculable valor, trabajadas en oro, plata y piedras preciosas, destacando los ornamentos y objetos que en su época de esplendor utilizaron los Incas, hijos del Dios Sol y monarcas del vasto Imperio Incaico.
La fama del Oro del Perú atrajo a numerosos aventureros europeos 500 años atrás y fue causa del fin del imperio de los Incas, dando origen al Virreinato del Perú, de la Corona Española.
El Museo Oro del Perú, exhibe además una valiosa colección de armas antiguas y modernas que se consideran una de las mejores de su genero a nivel mundial. En estas salas se muestran armaduras, uniformes y objetos de diversos tiempos y lugares, incluso algunos datan de 1,300 años A.C.
A esta muestra se la conoce como Museo Armas del Mundo.

LARCO MUSEUM
Its a unique viceroyal mansion of the 17th century, built on top of an 8th century pyramid. This fabulous museum includes the exquisite Collection of Peruvian Gold and Silver from ancient Peru, and the Pre-Hispanic Erotic Art Salon. Its pieces are well known because they have toured major world museums. Larco museum is among few museums around the world that allows the public to visit its vault which contains over 45,000 archaeological pieces that have been classified by renowned specialists and experts. The Larco Museum exhibits the largest private collection of pre-Colombian Peruvian art in the world.
NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY, ANTHROPOLOGY AND HISTORY
The old Viceroyal mansion housing this museum was an old residence of Peru's Viceroys and then of its Liberators. This is Peru's grandest museum and houses the Estela Raymondi and the Tello Obelisk monuments, two important carved stone pieces dated back to the Formative period about 1000 years B.C. It features the largest textile collection, with fabrics from the Pre-Ceramic period through the Inca Empire, and a major collection of Ancient Peruvian metals. The remarkable Tawantinsuyo Room illustrates one hundred years of the Inca Empire through models and virtual re-creations.

Observe the spectacular collection of the Peruvian Gold Museum and world weapons collection. This tour also includes a visit to the Friendship Park.
Ancient Peruvians were master metalworkers. The “cire perdue” or lost wax process, known across the Orient and lost in the West until the Renaissance, was the most frequent technique used by master ancient Peruvian gold and silversmiths.
On our tour to the Peruvian Gold Museum, visitors will appreciate a dazzling collection of gold artifacts from various pre-Colombian civilizations, some even more than 3,000 years old.
Metal pieces and jewellery of incalculable value in gold, silver and precious stones used by the Incas the children of the Sun God and monarchs of the vast Inca Empire are shown in this collection.
Five hundred years ago, Peru’s gold attracted many European adventurers who conquered the Incas and founded the Vice-Royalty of Peru under the Spanish Crown.
The Peruvian Gold Museum also houses a valuable collection of old and modern weapons that ranks among the best in the world. The halls in this section show the weapons of the World Collection of armour, uniforms and various ancient war artifacts and weapons from various time periods around the world, including some wich are dated 1300 years old A.C.
